I arrived in Krakow today and I had so many adventures. I really got out of my shell. I am interacting with people and doing things I never thought possible just a year ago. All through the grace of God. He is restoring me and I love him so much.
However, most of the time I spent thinking about how I would organize the trip differently if it were with you. How I would make sure you got the kind of treatment you deserve. The best hotels, the best restaurants, the best transportation. I’ll make sure every single vacation is amazing for you and I can’t wait to sit across from you at an amazing restaurant and smile at you as you taste the delicious local cuisine. I have found out that it’s fun to travel solo, but I know it’ll be nothing compared to traveling with you.
I lit a candle for you at the beautiful St. Mary’s Basilica. It’s truly stunning. I’ll share some pictures below. I wish you were here to see it. I’ll light another one for you tomorrow. Everybody needs to know I’m waiting for you.
I saw a cool salt mine, and the drive there was pretty eventful too. I traveled with a maniac of a driver but he got me there on time, and for that he earned a huge tip! He didn’t even say a word when I got in his car but after the tip he shook my hand and thanked me profusely. It’s amazing to make people happy. It feels so good. I can’t wait to make people happy together. It could be our thing. Charity, leaving big tips, surprising zero viewer streamers with big donations. Never telling a soul about it but doing it anyway. It’d be amazing. Giving hope to the ones who need it. Who have none.
I really wish this vacation was with you instead of a solo trip, but I promise to still have fun. And I am practicing for when we go together, as I said figuring out what I would do differently when it’s us two together, or even with our kids.
The future is bright, my love. I can feel it. I hope you can too.
